How to Care for an Inflatable Figure — Manufacturer Guide
Stated lifespan — 5-7 years. In practice some clients see figures die in 2 seasons, others get 8 years. Difference — in care.
What wears out
PVC fabric with UV inks
0.18-0.45 mm thick. Enemies: aggressive cleaners, sharp objects, dirty water (mold).
Seams
Double-welded, 12-month warranty. Break from: overpressure, sharp folds, frost below -15°C with fan running.
Fan
8000-12000 hours. Enemies: dust, moisture, sharp on-off cycles.
Daily care: 5 minutes before start
- Inspect ground
- Check anchors
- Inspect fan
- Dry wipe with soft brush
- Test inflate 2 minutes

Weekly cleaning
Dry brushing
10-15 min on inflated figure.
Wet cleaning
Warm water 30-40°C, mild soap, soft sponge. Wipe in circles, rinse, dry. Never use a hose or pressure washer.
Never use
- Acetone, gasoline, solvents
- Chlorine bleach
- Magic eraser sponge
- Pressure washer above 3 bar
Seam check and repair every 2 weeks
Repair a hole (up to 5 cm)
- Deflate, flatten
- Degrease with alcohol
- Cut oval patch 2-3 cm larger
- Apply glue to both, wait 3-5 min
- Press, roll out
- Weight 1-2 kg for 2 hours
- Use after 24 hours
Deflation and folding
Most common cause of premature wear — wrong folding. Fold in fresh positions each time.
Seasonal storage
- Dry dark space, +5°C to +25°C
- Humidity under 60%
- No rodents
- Original bag + plastic with anti-moth (not naphthalene)
- Silica gel inside
